Maus
My classmates decided to make their parents talk to the administration about the failing grades that were given on the Literature exam. They gave in and accepted our original grades but we wouldn’t get credit for that question, which was worth ten points, so instead of a 94, I will get an 84. I’m OK with it, at least it’s better than a 10.
We are nearly finishing One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey. After that, there is a slight chance that we will read Maus by Art Spiegelman. It’s quite exciting and it sounds fun too, since it would be the first time we would read be required to read a graphic novel for our Literature class. It’s basically a memoir of the Holocaust, and its characters are anthropomorphic animals (It will so bring back memories about the time I was reading Animal Farm).
I am thinking about checking the bookstores here to see if they have the graphic novel. I will get my hands on it even if we don’t end up reading it for our Literature class.

Definitely a good thing that you managed to get your grades sorted out!
