Catharsis

First of all, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. May you all fulfill your dreams and expectations and accomplish your goals.

Talking about goals, I have made a mini New Year’s resolution for myself.

• Keep my grades up.
• Get better at art.
• Get better at sewing (for cosplay…heh).
• Earn some money.
• Get along with most people.
• Keep cosplaying, ‘cos it’s damn fun.
• Update this website more often and add new stuff.

Yes~ Lately, I’ve been into cosplaying. A little too much, I think. Here are some planned outfits for the year 2009. Woot! I might not be able to do them all, but the first two are being done for sure.

• TP Link (Version 2 - because the first one sucked)
• Kanda from D.Gray-Man
• Tifa from Advent Children (Lol, I have NO boobs for this one)
• Rukia from Bleach

I am kind of tired so I will just go to sleep now.

Yes, it’s true. My friend and I got mugged yesterday. Apparently, we had taken the wrong cab at the wrong time. He took us to an alley and stole my friend’s cellphone and wallet. I have no idea how we got out alive, but hey, someone must want us alive for something else later. It was a horrible experience - and it’s true, you never know until you live it.

What’s worse of all is that I had a knife in my bag for some reason and I didn’t use it. Well, it sucks to be me. It’s a curse.

Other than that, everything’s been good… School’s out, but I’m going back on January 5th, 2009. Time to make my new year’s resolution. Yay!

I believe I am still alive. I haven’t been able to update or blog because I couldn’t force myself to. I’ve been feeling terrible, lately. Just random mood swings, I guess. I haven’t been able to draw anything decent either. It’s like I have this pseudo-permanent art block that I can’t get over. Argh.

Hur, I lost my graphing calculator. How stupid of me. I feel like I can’t do anything without it. Yes, I’m THAT lame. Being a math/science student, I shouldn’t depend so much on calculators…but I do… just like everyone else. Harharhar… My calculatoooor! DX

OK, so… today, I ended watching a horror movie. I am definitely not a fan of horror movies because they either have too much gore to be called a horror movie or they just scare the heck out of me. So, the movie I watched was Mirrors. Blargh. I must say, it was so disgusting. I just checked out the ratings for this movie. It makes me laugh.

For those who are horror movie fans, what really are you looking for?- A movie that scares the shit out of you without using much violence or one that is just plain gory and gross? I can name a few movies that are like that. (Yes, that includes Saw.) But if that is what “scares” people, well, what can I do? Personally, what do you think?

I saw a lot of kids dressed up at the mall. I could say my favorite costume was this little kid’s bee suit. It was adorably cute. I also saw some emo poseurs. ROFL. Lame. DX

Well, I’ll wrap this up for now. I am still a little paranoid about mirrors. I’ve always been a bit afraid of them. Bleh… but I’m paranoid all the time. I mean, when I finish taking a shower, I sometimes think there is a head sitting on the toilet, which faces the shower. So yeah, I kinda open the curtain, expecting a head to be there. How silly of me? Anyway. Wish me luck on drawing something decent. <3
